"I like to share through watercolor paintings the magnificence of the mountains and the exhilaration of people in action. Watercolor offers the greatest versatility in expressing mood and motion."
Award winning artist Phil Frisk enjoys exploring various art media including oil, sculpture, photography and computer graphics in his studio in Grand Junction, Colorado. Watercolor remains his favorite medium.
Phil's interests are varied. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from a small liberal arts college and has continued his studies in art by attending workshops with nationally acclaimed watercolorists. He conducts art classes and says, "You learn so much more when you teach others."
Phil's art is on display in galleries, public buildings and in private collections across the country.
