| Biggest Artistic Inspiration |
I used to get a lot of my inspiration from street art and graffiti which still reflects in my paintings today.
Now I try to focus on my environment and my neighborhood in Montreal. |

| Why Did You Become An Artist |
I struggle most of my youth trying to find out who I was. I found out I had some skills when someone pointed out that my doodle-ings were actualy artistic. A few years of finding my art-niche with a whole lot of street art followed. I came to appreciate the complexity of artistic creation and the whole life-style it involved. |

| Your Personal Biography |
Philippe is an artist residing in Montréal, Québec, Canada, and his hometown is Joliette, Québec. He is a middle child in a family of 3 children with an older brother, and a younger sister. His mother is a secretary in a hospital, his dad was a mechanical engineer.
Self-taught, he was first inspired as a teenager by graffiti and street art. Always on the fore front, he was seen as a style pioneer amongst his peers. He eliminated the need for letters and started exploring new movements in art like the 1950's abstracts and 1980's pop art. That's when he started using acrylic paints and mounted canvases, always relying on his own knowledge and desire to be unique.
His most recent work was described as strong, creative and intelligent. His stylistic portraits were recognized by the curator of the Chianciano Terme Museum of Fine Art and he will be presenting his work there in 2009 for the Biennale organized by the Gagliardi Gallery of London, UK.
