Artist Statement:
As a photographer, Harry
Lines is interested in
capturing the beauty of the
ordinary in ways that
nourishes the self. Trained
as a set designer for the
theatre, Harry worked many
years as a professional
designer as well as teaching
at the university level.
Several years ago, feeling the
need to go in a new direction
with his artistic abilities,
he began pursuing photography,
taking classes in New York
City at the International
Center of Photography, School
of Visual Arts, and the Pratt
Institute. His B&W images
have won top awards the last
three years at photo
competitions in Southern
California....
