Artist Statement:
Mike Crawley is a Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society and lives in Hertfordshire, UK. Mikes' main photographic interests include travel, nature and landscape photography and the photography of women. Portrait classes at a local evening class have evolved, over the last fourteen years, into a passion for photographing beautiful women.
He is currently the President of the Kodak Works Photographic Society and competes in local, National and International Salons and Exhibitions and regularly has work exhibited in the Austrian Super Circuit, winning medals in 2001 and 2002. He also exhibited in the RPS members’ gallery in Bath in 1996.
Mike exhibits and sells images through his own website www.photofrenetic.com and retains images in several traditional picture libraries and agencies such as the Akehurst Bureau and the online picture library Alamy.com.
He's also had images and articles published in various photographic magazines including Practical Photography, Amateur Photographer, Photo Answers, What Digital Camera and PIC. A recent publication, "The Mammoth Book of Erotic Photography", published in 2001 by Robinson of London contains a selection of Mike’s shadow and pattern images and he has written and illustrated a book, commissioned by David & Charles Limited, called "Photographing the ...
