Artist Statement:
In all of the photographs that
I take as well the subsequent
polaroid transfers that I
create I try to present
simplicity and balance that I
crave in my own life. I am
drawn to simple images and
shapes and attempt to catch
the observers eye with bright
colors or interesting
textures.
The polariod transfer image is
best viewed close up to see
the subtle color and texture
differences. Due to the
process every image is an
original which is then hand
colored, matted, and framed by
the artist using high quality
materials.
