Artist Statement:
I live on Queensland's scenic
Sunshine Coast in Australia.
The diverse natural beauty and
varied wildlife of the region
inspire me to create works
which convey an intense love
of the environment.
This passion for nature led
to the development of an
exclusive 3-Dimensional paint
formula known as Creative 3D
Colours. This exciting new
paint product allows me to
work in an area other than the
more traditional pen & ink
medium which I still love to
use. The water-based,
non-toxic paint enables me to
create some very original
effects and allows me to paint
on conventional as well as
organic "canvases", such as
wood, leaves, rocks,
tree-pods, shells, bark and
coral etc.
The finely detailed pen &
ink drawings express my
respect for nature, and my
richly toned, dimensional
paintings pay tribute to a
land and culture which I love
and respect deeply.
