Artist Statement:
I am commited to creating the most realistic replicas of Wild Birds, from Wood !
All Work is done Lifesized and in flight with wings outstretched, ready to fly into Your life !( unless requested otherwise by commission )
I try to duplicate all the realism I possibly can,and Being a "Sick Perfectionist" , enables Me to do this with extraordinary patience.
I love Wood, the smell of it, the feel of it, its versatility of use, and the results it offers in the finished product.
I feel that if not for the "Tree" itself, Mankind would be at an alltime standstill after the invention of the wheel !
I never duplicate any of My Artwork, thereby making sure each piece is a "One of a kind" original piece of Art. I include a certificate of authenticity and insurance value certificate with ea. piece.
I I accept commission work, and will consider any request.
My website,
http://www.woodbirdsinflight.c om
holds many good examples of My work to date, and will be updated as soon as a new piece is finished and ready for sale or display.
I thank You for Your time.
"Live long...and prosper !"

| Your Personal Biography |
I am a long time lover of Wood, ever since I was a Youngster, and 'Carved' my first head out of a piece of 2x4 lumber. I have been fascinated with the qualities and versatility of Wood ever since.
I learned to Oil paint myself, using the examples of 'Alexander' and Robbins, and though I have No formal traing as an artist, I have always Been an Artist, and Musician, with natural skills to do both, well.
Other than that, I am formerly a Paramedic, emergency response Trainor,bio-medical engineer and have had many years working in the emergency service fields of medicine.
I have saved over 60 lives during My own lifetime, alone and without aid, and tho never labled a Hero, I was glad to be there when someone needed Me the most, with the skills neccessary to save them.
Very rewarding times !
Recently, after a Very bad car wreck, in which I died, but was revived and brought 'back from the dead', I developed the unique ability of Carving Lifelike 'Birds in Flight', and I attribute this to a after life meeting with My departed grandmother Marie, Who guided Me back from the eternal abyss. I love Her dearly, and didn't want to return to life, however, it was She Who giuded me and told Me there was More for Me to do. I now know what She was reffering to.
I must carve Birds. That's all I know, I am compelled to do so, tho never having done so before.
So...I now express Myself through My artwork and sculptures, which eases the burden of being an 'Un-Sung Hero', as well as the fact that I Died, yet returned to finish the goals destiny has laid before Me .
I owe My very survival to this point in life, to My lovely Wife, Who has nurtured My artistic abilities showing Me her supportive love and critisism of My work. I love Her dearly, and thank Her for Putting up with Me for 30 yrs.
Thank You for Your interest.
I wish You all peace and happiness ! |
