I am commited to creating the
most realistic replicas of
Wild Birds, from Wood !
All Work is done Lifesized and
in flight with wings
outstretched, ready to fly
into Your life !( unless
requested otherwise by
commission )
I try to duplicate all the
realism I possibly can,and
Being a "Sick Perfectionist" ,
enables Me to do this with
extraordinary patience.
I love Wood, the smell of it,
the feel of it, its
versatility of use, and the
results it offers in the
finished product.
I feel that if not for the
"Tree" itself, Mankind would
be at an alltime standstill
after the invention of the
wheel !
I never duplicate any of My
Artwork, thereby making sure
each piece is a "One of a
kind" original piece of Art. I
include a certificate of
authenticity and insurance
value certificate with ea.
piece.
I I accept commission work,
and will consider any request.

Mr.& Mrs. Robert Mackrell,Clarks Summit,PA.
"Destiny" was created from a Log,from a felled Pinetree, planted by their best friends Mother when they were children, after She passed away, and after its felling, Robert took home a log from the pile hoping someday it may be turned into a memorial to this woman.
He found My website here, www.woodbirdsinflight.com and asked if I would be willing to perform this task. I agreed. and "Destiny" was set free from within. Hand carved from the very heart of a 22 year old Pine tree, It is highly detailed, and the customer requested no paint, so the grain would be showcased as well, and finished with a High Gloss glass like finish.
