Poppenga, has been awarded first place in the Columbia Basin Soroptimist International Art by Women Exhibition Year 2002 and has been purchased for the permanent art collection at Washington State University, Tri-Cities, Washington (USA.) An awards ceremony is scheduled at the univerisity on February 26, 2002.
