Everybody is an artist. Art is about your unique vision, your observation and your articulation of your existence. It is about asserting the world your existence where you become thriving unite of lives own force rather than mere existing.
Being artist is discovering every moment of your conscious living. It is a deliberate choice to take a pause from the flow, observe your own being's movement, the movement of collective being, and the ecosystem we are part of. My art reflects this. In my art my ecosystem and I coexist and form a relationship of continues dialogue. We interact a lot. That is why many a time my work turn a political statement. It has to.
We are living in a society where a huge machinery is turning us into a apolitical, secular part of a big production machine which fails to recognize us away from our producer and consumer identities. Every media is telecasting opinions of some marketers and these influences are slowing down our ability to think and observe independently. My art is rebellion against mass manufactured ideas, thoughts and life styles.
In my art I try to capture life of our contemporary times which artists generally considers too disturbing to pursue, too political to be of worth artistic articulation. To me those very ideas are centre to my oeuvre of work. Dreams of youth, growing xenophobic tendency of urban civilization, objectification of the image of women by media to sale goods, violence against kids, religious intolerance, consumerist pressure, pain of growing demand of popular culture, these are leit.motiv of my art.
From very childhood I loved Warhol, Lichtenstein and Dali. These images got stuck with me. My work is extension of bright colors of Warhol, bold and direct statement of Lichtenstein and stretchening of imagination of Dali.
