Many moods and emotions are evoked within each of us through the stimulus of nature. A single flower, a stand of pine, a radiant sunset or the vibrancy of fall maple leaves can make us pause for a moment in our busy lives. This reflective moment allows us to reassess our priorities and appreciate the world we all too frequently take for granted. My hope is that each painting, with its strong and clear colors, helps the viewer relive some of these moments.
I am constantly intrigued by light and shadows in our environment. Translating those images and their effects is an integral aspect of each of my paintings...
