My photographs are reflections
of nature’s wonders that I am
privileged to experience, from
the endangered Karner blue
butterfly in upstate New York
to the Neotropical rainforests
to the red rocks in Arizona. I
continued to be awed and
inspired by the beauty of
mother nature which provokes
me to capture her light.
Photography allows me to
combine my passions – hiking,
watching and experiencing
nature, art, photography and
traveling. My travels have
taken me to the magical and
mystical rainforests of
Belize, Costa Rica, Pureto
Rico, Mexico, Guatemala and
Ecuador. These forests touch
my soul and inspire me to
compose what nature presents
to anyone who takes the time
to listen. Since most of my
photography centers on these
unique and awe-striking
places, I decided to call my
photography Rainforest
Reflections.
A biologist,
conservationalist, and natural
resource manager by training,
I am currently the Ecoregional
Conservation Planning
Associate for The Nature
Conservancy’s Eastern
Caribbean Office located in
St. Croix, U.S. Virgin
Islands. I have also worked
for The Nature Conservancy in
New York, Arizona, Colorado,
and Michigan. This fall I will
be attending University of ...
