Artist Statement:
I am an emotional, passionate,
and creative man who is
learning the highest poetry
called philosophy. I know now
that this will lead me to
Enlightenment. Being a writer
I wrote truth ‘as it is'
causing anger, envy and
jealousy in the heart of many
friends . I do wonder why
people normally don't accept
truth. I think that truth is
creative not hypocrisy. I am
treading the path of criticism
and self-criticism for I know
that only this can lead me to
the ultimate aesthetic
realization not hypocrisy. I
am now in the home which is
founded on the freedom of
consciousness and truth. For
the sake of truth whatever I
did in my life is justifiable.
I can feel Buddha within who
speaks truth, does true things
for truth to prevail. I do not
care for those who are against
freedom of expression and
truth and whose very
expression is founded on lie.
My art is founded on the
truth; there is a passionate
longing to create out of
nothingness. I am in love with
the Lady Art and I am waiting
for her arrival; I have felt
her promises....

place? 'The spiritual' which
is full of life giving force,
it is not that spiritual which
is conceived as an
impassionate phenomenon -the
cry of a dead heart. Not

| Biggest Artistic Inspiration |
My inspiration comes from philosophy and spiritualism. i personally feel that philosophy is the highest poetry. every art form has philosophy in its root. modernism, postmodernism, dadaism, surrealism, etc. are philosophical movements. ones artist understands the spirit of philosophy he becomes truly creative. Mondrian, klee. Kandinsky etc understood it so we find aesthetic pleasure in their works. my artistic inspiration can be summed up with the quote from KANT'S THIS statement " THERE CAN BE NO DOUBT THAT ALL OUR KNOWLEDGE BEGINS WITH EXPERIENCE. FOR HOW SHOULD OUR FACULTY OF KNOWLEDGE OTHERWISE BE AWAKENED INTO ACTION...? BUT THOUGH ALL OUR KNOWLEDGE BEGINS WITH EXPERIENCES, IT DOES NOT FOLLOW THAT IT ARISES OUT OF EXPERIENCE". i personally feel that experience i.e. authentic experience of art comes out from authentic perception of the phenomena. Any experience can not be aesthetic . |

Born: 1972 in Ballia (india)
Education: B.A in fine art and philosophy Allahabad University 1993
Taken Sanyasa for two years and studied six system of Indian philosophy focusing specially on Vedanta from Sankaracharya of Puri Swami Niscalananda saraswati. Returned back to complete my MA but since being a student of philosophy I had already learned what had to learned. I left my academic life and started my own journey to be myself. >>Have a look of what i was in 1994
Life as a journalist- 1-Worked as an art columnist in ‘Rastriya Sahara' Hindi news paper for three years. See photos of those days
2- Edited several issues of Hindi art magazine ‘ka'
3- At present editing art and culture magazine

Scholarship- Got scholarship from Lalit Kala academy 2005 for art criticism
