| Why Did You Become An Artist |
I have always loved to draw and paint and feel a need to provide highly detailed, accurate portrayals of the subjects I paint, having spent over 23 years in the United States Coast Guard, I have first and knowledge of the effects of wind and tide on sea conditions. Although I specialize in marine art, I also love to paint portraits, seascapes, landscapes and animals. |

| Your Personal Biography |
I am a retired United States Coast Guard Chief Warrant Officer who has been painting for over fifty years. I am self-taught with a very realistic style. Through my service at sea, I have a garnered a special talent for depicting the effects of wind and tide on the water. Although I specialize in marine art, I also have a succesful career painting, landscapes, animals, pets, and portraits. My art is recognized by my great attention to detail and accurate portrayal of the subject. My paintings are included in many private, corporate, public and military collection including: The United States Coast Guard Museum, United States Coast Guard Academy Officers' Club, United States Naval and Coast Guard Vessels, colleges and universities. I am available for commissioned work and will work from your photograph/s and/or work with you to develop a painting based on your ideas and suggestions. Satisfaction is guaranteed and several photos of the painting in progress are provided for the buyer's input and approval. |
