COLOURS! all my ideas and inspirations come from viewing colours in different forms. Nature, patterns in textiles, textures in the environment, clouds in the sky, all these inspire me to paint.
Spirituality and feelings of connectedness to the universe, thoughts linger on and on , titles turn and twist in the mind, for days, months or sometimes years, till they are laid on the canvas with a lot of spiritual energy, sort of trance. |

| Your Personal Biography |
Mrs Rizwana A.Mundewadi a freelance healing artist. A graduate in Home-Science and Education and a diploma holder in Pre-Primary Teacher’s Training, I have been painting for more than over a decade. I have dabbled in varied types of art forms like soap carvings, hand-painting trees, creative furniture painting, graphic designs of textiles and tiles, and designing cards and posters. With a healing background in the family and my inclination towards spirituality, I learned Reiki and became a third degree Reiki Master. In order to better understand the use of colours, I undertook a course in graphic designing. Over the years, I have amassed a formidable collection of my paintings using different techniques. I have developed a distinct style of working and my paintings are mostly symbolic representations of religion, spirituality, feng shui and Reiki. My association with colour healing and the healing of chakras is aptly demonstrated in the selection of bright, fresh and assorted colours in my works. I aim to facilitate harmony, good luck, good health, progress, prosperity and spirituality through the medium of my paintings. |

| Artist Statement |
Born artist and writer! I believe in Karma and strongly agree to 'move with the flow' God has a plan, we have to implement it. Painting on themes of Spiritual Abstract, Representational Symbolism and Geometric Cubism, I would like to facilitate harmony, prosperity and good luck through the medium of my paintings. My search for identity and self expression ended up with brushes and oils!
