Artist Statement:
California Artist, RC Guthrie,
works primarily in the pen &
ink medium.The artist chooses
the technique of "stippling"
as a means to convey the
wonderful and subtle value
contrasts he achieves
throughout his
drawings.Working in a variety
of subject matter, the
technique lends itself well
to sharing the artists love of
his medium. Ron leans towards
Equine art and is a member of
the Equine Art Guild. His love
of Marine art is also
displayed as well. Sharing his
passion for Pen & Ink drawings
has been the goal of this
artist and now Ron is offering
his art in print directly from
his web site. In the future,
more prints will be available
and new works by the artist
are being added as well.
