Welcome to Redstart
Photography … for nature and
environmental photography by
Phil McDermott based on the
Isle of Mull in the west of
Scotland specialising in
nature and environmental
photography.
“My priority is to uphold a
genuine care and respect for
the environment and subjects
and the following pages unfold
to reflect this approach.
Through my nature and
environmental photography I
hope to raise awareness and
encourage a greater
appreciation of the splendour
of the natural world”.
Working almost exclusively in
Scotland, with its magnificent
scenery, diverse flora and
fauna and remarkable quality
of light all combining to
provide a continual source of
photographic opportunity and
inspiration. Phil has a
continually expanding and
diverse Photo Portfolio of
well edited nature and
environmental photography
images ranging from macro to
telephoto. Always looking for
those special nature images
with something extra to lift
them above the ordinary.
From atmospheric landscapes to
creative abstracts, our nature
and environmental photography
is mostly recorded on Fuji
film for maximum detail and
colour saturation. A Stock
