Artist Statement for Branko Reic
|
|
|
Born in Split, Croatia - a city where artistry founded
its beginnings 17 centuries ago.
Living in surroundings of ancient monuments, inspired by a landscape
delightfully shaped by the warm mediterranean climate and enchanted by
the beauty of Dalmatian women he, himself at the age of sixten entered
the world of arts.
He expresses his impressions through sculpture, pictures, fine arts and
crafts. During the past six years has been working professionaly with graphic design
and computer arts.
His work have been exibited in Croatia.
From 1955 is a member of Croatian Advertising Society and from 1996 has been participating
at the Golden Drum - Festival of the New Europe.
In 2000 he was awared the "Artistry Award" by Nu-Horizons Design Studio from British Columbia, Canada.
"World Web Award of Excellence" by Art Space 2000 from Stany
Mauntain, Manitoba, Canada
"Golden Web Award" by International Association of Web Masters and Designers,
from Wellington, FL, USA
Owning to his gift in observing beauty, skillfullness and a higher technical education he has succedded
in creating, from many aspects, his own realistic artistic stile.
