Artist Statement:
Reinhold Booten is a Belgian
painter and grafitti artist
since back in the day when
'beat street' came out
and all the old school rappers
as 'll cool j' and
'grand master flash' made rap
history.
His artistic talent guided him
to begin his own
musical projects as with his
band
'kingsizesmokingmojoslim'.
A strange combination of rap,
reggae and even punk
brought a new musical concept
to live. And so he called it
'maasfonk'.
This guy lives his life to the
max and even lived in L.A.
before
he realized it was time to do
something with his god givin'
talent.
So he began a shop.
Beside his own work and
collectable cult-items he
recognizes other
young artists with incredible
potential.
And believe me... this guy
doesn't want shit on his
plate.
Art is not only art to him but
is point of view that many
don't
understand today.
