Artist Statement for Ria Hills
|
|
|
Ria works in a variety of mediums. Her medium of choice for the past few years has been pastel. Although mostly self-taught she has had many teachers in a non-traditional sense.
Formal training has included attendance at the Worcester Art Museum in Massachusetts.
Ria has 25 years of professional experience in graphic design and as a fine artist.
Her paintings and conceptual photographs have been displayed in art shows and galleries in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New York.
