Artist Statement:
An art object should bring a
response from the viewer be it
positive or negative. This
artwork should also bring a
sense of joy and fulfillment
to the artist. When I create
a painting I do all of the
necessary prep work and then I
turn or the cd player and let
the emotions and feelings flow
from me to the canvas.
Depending upon my mood depends
which music is played and what
type of painting emerges.
I really believe that a
painting should bring joy not
only to the people that view
the piece but also to the
artist who created it because
the painting is a definate
part of the artist. It is too
bad that we sometimes discover
the simple joys in life so
late, but than better late
than never. Please enjoy
these pieces as much as I have
enjoyed creating them. Also,
