Artist Statement:
I currently work in the medium
of pen ink and watercolour. I
intend to base my next
exhibition on paintings in
this medium depicting
buildings local to hereabouts
of which I also research into
history. I do some commissions
regularly , using photography
to an extent since I
photograph and sketch in some
detail before I complete a
work....

The artist Robert Parker-Munn lives near Llanidloes, Powys.(Wales, U.K.) Works often reflect local architecture. Favourite mediums are pen ink and watercolour and oils. Has exhibited in Studio 13, Llanidloes,(Powys) Phoenix Gallery, Newtown,(Powys) Hafren Theatre Gallery, Newtown, (Powys) and Theatre Clara, Welshpool, Powys. Works are currently on display at Home Improvements, Broad Street Newtown,Woosnam and Davies, Llanidloes.
Educated through Cardiff Art College and the Welsh College of Music and Drama and trained as a Primary teacher Robert works for the Social Services in a caring capacity with the elderly.
Robert plans a photography exhibition as well as continuing many themes freely in painting. Limited editions of two postcards made from his artworks are available on request from the artist.
