Artist Statement for Robert Verhees
|

|
My name is Robert Verhees. I was born November 18, 1965 in Sacramento, CA. but traveled all over the world before settling down with a wife and three children in San Diego, California. I've been a professional artist for 19 years.
Using metal, glass, wood, and other mediums I create things I love and are passionate about. For me, its about the process, taking these materials and shaping them into fluid creations. Being skilled in many mediums and working them together is what excites me. I put a lot of my own emotions into every piece I work on. I am not afraid of a lot of work to get what I want in sculpture or in life.
