Artist Statement:
"I use the butterfly as a
stamp similar to those use in
Asian artworks. The statements
are used to reference my
reaction to or in appreciation
of the content in the photo.
In the same mode of thought,
following the practices in
Japanese and Chinese art, I'm
hoping people will add their
thoughts and stamps to the
piece. To me, this practice
makes the image/artwork a
living piece.
I enjoy people's diverse
perspectives. I enjoy how
thought references individuals
diving and indication of who
they are and where they came
from. I hope to capture some
of these diversified
viewpoints through the
presentation of an aesthetic
image."
