Welcome to Romy Galicia's Portfolio. Creating a fine art in any medium, style or genre is an expression of my inner self... chaotic yet exudes itself into some form of order and structure that is conforming to my outside self and the world I struggle to recreate. My ever-growing fascination of colors, shapes, lines, textures serve as the building block and foundation to recreate and reexamine order, solidity, movement and style that manifest itself into my ever-increasing and ever-evolving art portfolio.
Photographic images of people, animals, places and man-made and/or natural objects and abstracts are filtered through my mind and become so vivid and real. When I am in a creative mood, I pick up a pen or ink, a brush, an oil or acrylic paint, a canvas and start to reconstruct the images into works of aunthentic fine arts. There is nothing more soothing and refreshing for me to see the final and tangible product ready to be hung and exhibited for the world to see.
