Please see my personal bio for information about inspiration, training, artistic goals and activities.
I would like to take this space to express my thoughts on showing and and selling my work.
I love to show my photography. Best for me is to do so in person, so that I can enjoy and learn from the responses of viewers and engage the comments and questions people may have. I learned early-on that photography for me is another way to communicate, and being able to talk with people about my work helps me to gain new insights.
Absolutearts, while not face-to-face, provides me with an ongoing opportunity to show my work to more people that I can reach personally. Your comments and questions via email are most welcome.
Needless to say, it is very gratifying when a viewer likes an image so much they actually buy it, or several. I try to make my work accessible as to both size and price. Regardless of the size/price shown with a particular image, most of my photographs are available in 3 different sizes/prices: 5 x 7" in an 11 x 14" mat for $30; 8 x 10" in an 11 x 14" mat for $60; and 11 x 14" in a 16 x 20" mat for $100 to $120. (The 11 x 14" are limited edition prints.) All mats and papers are acid free. All work is hand signed and titled.
