Reviews for Nathalie Sabourin:

Extract of the newspaper "VALEURS DE L'ART" N°61.
December 1999
" The painter practises a representational artist without excess: rural perspectives eased by supple movements of ground which punctuates a soft and ordered vegetation, activated by flowery and colored impacts whereas play it a warm light and a quivering shadow of the distant, dominated with milky or chattered skies. In navies(marines) also, Nathalie Sabourin's pictorial touch takes place with a power as unexpected as effective within all these serene motives that it poétise in purity. "
André Ruellan.
Extract of the newspaper " UNIVERSE OF ARTS " N°49. April, 2000.
" With Nathalie Sabourin, there is at first an ascendancy of the colour where the saturated blues compete in intensity with yellow brilliant. The creations give evidence of a particular and attractive atmosphere by the emotion which gets free of it. "
Extract of the newspaper
"UNIVERS DES ARTS" N°52.
Juillet-Août 2000.
"Outlines of women… Transparencies sketched in filigree among the flowers, their shapes and curves in osmosis with delicious landscapes of Provence.
In her festive escape, Sabourin plays with yellows and oranges, the entire range of blues, the red of the poppies and motley wild bouquets in a vigorous style that merges the poetic with the pantheistic.»
Jean Louis Avril
Extract of the newspaper "UNIVERS DES ARTS" N°61.
July-August 2001.
« Reds, blues and yellows whip the canvas, giving life to fields of lavender and poppy, dominated by a mountain rising from the distant horizon.
Nathalie Sabourin ‘s fresh and vital painting stylizes shapes and poeticizes nature. The artist makes her escape from reality to recreate what she has observed. »
