Artist Statement:
I have been painting for the
past twenty-five years,
residing in Hawaii on the Kona
Coast. I have painted and
sold over 1,000 paintings in
oil on canvas, watercolor on
D'Arches and Acrylic on canvas
and paper as well as bronze
sculptures.
Subjects have included Koi
Ponds, Marine Art, Dolphins,
Sea Turtles, Figures, Land and
Seascapes, Wildlife, Florals
and Fantasy; Mermaids, Angels,
and Etherial works.
As of 2006, I am represented
by Douglas Goldstein, formerly
manager for Guns & Roses, am
showing at Four Seasons
Hualalai Hawaii, at Genesis
Gallery in two locations, have
recently purchased an old
plantation house on 1/2 acre
of land, and am enjoying the
'fruits' of living in Hawaii.

About Sachi
Sachi is self taught watercolorist, sculptor and oil painter. She was born & raised in California, on the beaches and in the canyons of Malibu. In her 20's Malibu was a haven for artist’s, actors, musicians and celebrities, where she received she states, “a sensational creative education”. In the 80’s her artistic direction began with whimsical “life sculptures”, carried by FAO Schwartz, the Sherwood Gallery in Los Angeles, and collected by celebrities such as Hugh Hefner.Since 1985 Sachi has created over 700 paintings. Many marine & wildlife watercolors and oils have benefited a number of preservation programs which include Pacific Ocean Research Foundation, Ted Danson's American Oceans Campaign, Hawaii's Green Sea Turtle Tag & Release Program, & Great Britain’s Wildfowl & Wetland’s Trust, overwhich Prince Charles presides.In 1993, Sachi's thirteen oil portraits of rock stars from the sixties, for the Island Heritage 25th Anniversary Rock & Roll commemorative calendars; with Mick Jagger, John Lennon, Tina Turner and other luminaries from the era, gained her the American Advertising Federations’ prestigious, “AAA Award of Excellence”. Today the artist works in her studio, overlooking the Kona Coastline on the Big Island of Hawaii. Her art is collected, exhibited and distributed throughout the world. Sachi's is working with publisher Beyond Words Inc., painting Sea Turtles Marinelife, with a new book entitled "Turtle Songs Her love and passion for the Islands is portrayed among her collection of new limited edition prints which include Birds Of Paradise, Frangi Pani, Hibiscus, Dolphins and Sea Turtles. These as well as many other works are available in Bronze, Canvas and Archival 100%Rag Watercolor stock.
