Artist Statement for Karla Sachi
|
|
|
I have been painting for the past twenty-five years, residing in Hawaii on the Kona Coast. I have painted and sold over 1,000 paintings in oil on canvas, watercolor on D'Arches and Acrylic on canvas and paper as well as bronze sculptures.
Subjects have included Koi Ponds, Marine Art, Dolphins, Sea Turtles, Figures, Land and Seascapes, Wildlife, Florals and Fantasy; Mermaids, Angels, and Etherial works.
As of 2006, I am represented by Douglas Goldstein, formerly manager for Guns & Roses, am showing at Four Seasons Hualalai Hawaii, at Genesis Gallery in two locations, have recently purchased an old plantation house on 1/2 acre of land, and am enjoying the 'fruits' of living in Hawaii.
