Artist Statement:
Sahar was born in Tehran in
1979, and she started painting
when she was a little child
but she started working
seriously on painting when she
was 16.
She began her academic
education in Al-Zahra
University in Tehran and got
her BFA in July, 2003. She
worked with different
materials and in different
styles till she found what she
was searching for.
She could see different forms
in trees, and also could hear
a new sound which was talking
to her, and it made her to
draw them more and more, trees
are symbols of humans for her,
and her last project is
called: Trees, Reflections of
Humanity.
At the moment she teaches
painting to children and also
she is technical assistant of
Tavoos Online, and painting is
still part of her life which
can never be apart.
