Artist Statement:
"All of us are in the gutter, but some of us are looking up at the stars." - Heidi Quade
That simple quote inspired me to take my passion to a new place. A place that I had never been. A place where I found myself when I didn't know I was looking. A place where I met the 'me' I had never known.
In every stroke of my paintbrush is my passion. In every colour, my voice. And everytime I paint, I identify, lose myself, recharge, energize and find myself anew.
Buried in my heart, unearthed by my paintbrush, I find and remember people, places, tradition, culture.....I find my dreams, my identity, myself. All in a place I treasure. My very own khazaanaa.
