Artist Statement:
I am a "self-taught" artist
and I started creating my
Surreal-Expressive style in
1990 at the age of 34. I have
been prolific ever since and
find creativity to be healing
for me. Before 1990 I created
in a very realistic style and
my subjects were animals and
people. I create because I
have to and it works for me.

I am female but don't think
that is important... and I
don't use hard drugs or
alcohol as many assume.
