Welcome to Sandra Pratt's Portfolio. Browse Pratt's body of work: It is my intention to capture the essence of color and shape through using the palette knife. Creating simple studies of color harmony and stillness in painting. I enjoy painting outside as well as making a painting happen through imagination in the studio. Using simple methods of paint application in one stroke and then blending with that to build up the next form is interesting to me, vastly different than brush painting, knife painting appeals to the instantaneous creative movement it offers.
