I always try to create a piece of art which gets a positive reaction from the audience. By positive, I mean in the way the person feels; refreshed, energized, alive, thinking quicker than before they looked at my piece. For me, a positive reaction is not simply any reaction! A positive reaction means the viewer saw something which I created, and it evoked an intense feeling for them. My pieces, generally, would not be considered calming. I strive for my work to be energizing, to encourage thought, and to look appealing on the wall. I personally love many different types... |
