Artist Statement:
Art has been an important part
of my life as far back as I
can remember - beginning in
elementary and throughout
engineering school and thirty
years in the chemical
manufacturing industry. Only
in the past several years has
it been a full-time venture.
The beauty of the Texas hill
country and the potential
offered by transparent
watercolor provide me a
constant challenge and
frequent satisfaction.
Sunlight and shade, a rugged
cedar fence post, the
nostalgia of an old barn or
longhorn steer are elements of
the paintings that I enjoy
creating and a growing number
of collectors appreciate....
