|
|
Artwork should project the spirit and emotion of the subject as well as an initial impression. I do not believe we should follow the path so many others have taken and my art does not fit in the sculpture "mould". Sometimes it is well recieved and sometimes rejected but I found that my own path must be followed if I am to continue with a desire to create
"Greedily guarded for so many years in the beasts grip
The beasts named guilt, fear and repression
She broke free one day and flew up and away out of their hold
Light and free like a child she danced into a new world innocent beyond her years
Knowing that now she is able to dance her own dance"
