Artist Statement:
Sea Escape Studio specializes
in offering artwork created by
Tom Harmon. Tom paints in
watercolor, acrylic, and oils.
He focuses on marine subjects
such as lighthouses,
seascapes, and fish.
Sea Escape came into being in
1993 by a happy event. While
on a trip, Tom's wife sent him
a postcard of a lighthouse. He
decided that it would be great
to start painting, so he
painted his first watercolor
of the Coquille River
Lighthouse in Bandon, Oregon.
We feel that everyone should
be able to afford Tom's art,
therefore we strive to keep
everything reasonably priced
yet at high quality.
Tom is now represented
professionally in Washington
State by the Potlatch Gallery
in Poulsbo, and Abbies
Lighthouse in Edmonds. In
Mississippi he is represented
by the Southern Breeze Gallery
in Jackson, the Gravity
Gallery in Clinton, and at
MississippiArt.com. In Texas
his work also can be found at
Coastal Creations in
Galveston.
