Why Did You Become An Artist I don't recall a time in my life when I didn't love drawing.

Your Personal Biography Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, raised throughout the U.S. and Mexico City, I now live in Las Vegas. At the age of twelve, I was honoured to have my portfolio reviewed by one of Disney's 'nine old men', Eric Larson. He encouraged me to continue drawing, study art and go for it! Since graduating from Cal State Northridge with a B.A. in Fine Arts, I've enjoyed pursuing a variety of styles in different medias such as pen & ink, acrylic, marker, pencil, watercolour, Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator. I have worked on projects (portraiture, illustrations, cartoons, CD covers, & logos,) for companies and organizations including Mother Jones, FMSMF, Partly Dave Records, National Assistance League, Sound Bites Magazine, Apollo Effects, Trump-Wilshire & Associates, and The Data Corporation.

As a professional musician, I have helped my fellow musicians by creating unique band logos, designing CD covers & illustrations for publicity purposes. My main emphasis now is to combine my love of art, music & pop culture by creating bold portraits of inspirational musicians, artists adventurers, leaders, etc. By implementing both hand drawn illustrations & digital art, my pieces balance cutting edge graphics with the warmth of fine art. I thoroughly enjoy doing character studies of interesting personalities where the use of art brings out a depth of soul through portraiture.

Researching, letting creative ideas flow onto paper and then making it feel & look right is how it all happens. Thanks for your interest in my art!
