| Your Personal Biography |
I was born on Februar 20, 1965 in Switzerland and have spent most of my life in the canton of Zürich.
As colours and shapes have interested me since childhood, I have taken the decision in the age of 26 to begin with painting. Since 1999 I have my own painting studio where I have enough space for my hobbies – the painting and the welding.
For me painting is expression of my thoughts, my experiences in life, but also just a game with the colours.
Most of the time I get my inspiration through the nature and also through one of my other hobbies, the scuba diving, but also through music.
My paintings – mainly oil paintings – have no titles, are not framed and are signed on the back.
With welding I have started in1999 and have intensified it since 2003. Like that different objects made of steel and my “Wing-people” have arisen in different sizes. The body is made of steel and the wings of glass or polycarbonate – most of them hand painted, few of them are made of Tiffany glass.
