Artist Statement:
Paul Shakespeare studied
industrial design and graphics
at Birmingham university,
England. Subsequently, he
spent valuable time working in
major design studios in New
York, developing a
professional, international
level of visual perception.
Now living in Andratx,
Mallorca since 25 years, he
has actively maintained an
interest in the creative arts.
Design, painting and
photography are the activities
which hold a permanent
fascination for Paul and
DIGITAL ART provides an
exciting media, in which to
express his innovative visual
ideas. A trained eye,
creativity and the ability to
explore the very latest
developments in digital
painting technology are the
factors which have led to the
paintings in this collection
of work. Using a 'digital
impasto', oil technique,
compositions of vibrant
colour, dinamic lines, forms,
and textures are
characteristic of Paul's work
