Artist Statement:
mother of 2 boys,after
watching them grow,with an
innate facination for tools
for destruction and games of
violence like toy guns, games
like command and conquer....in
spite of me keeping them away
from violent situation,their
innate desire to express
manliness through domination
and command made me think of
object and images that
cunstruct persona of
men...which resulted in this
series of crayon
drawing-painting in 1999. ...
