artists I also dabble in
graphic design. Actually, I
make my
living as a graphic designer
for a company in Norman, Ok,
where I live. I graduated from
the University of Oklahoma
with a degree in Visual
Communications, which is just
a fancy term for graphic
design.

Most of my illustrations are
composed of one or two simple
elements or people, like a
portrait. When I first started
taking
drawing seriously I drew
mostly in pen and tried to
draw really
weird psychodelic style stuff.
You know, where I really
wouldn't
plan anything out and would
just make it up as I went.
Over
the years I've shifted to more
simple pieces, but with much
more thought and detail than
what I did before. In some of

my recent drawings you can see
glimpses of a psyhodelic
influence, such as The White
Stripes drawing and my first
Self-Portrait.

Most of my drawings are done
pretty quickly. I usually
don't
spend more than 8 or 10 hours
on a piece. However, in the
