|
These are fireworks on a hot July night.
These are men with red bandaners tied around
their necks as they run threw the cobble stoned
streets of Pamplona trying to avoid the sharpened
horns of injured bulls that are driven by hundreds
of years of a brutal tradition.
These are those bulls.
These are the distortion of color and shape that
happens in your minds eye, a furious explosion
of contained expression.
They begin with a mixture of paint and emotion
and end with a broken paint brush being tossed
to the floor.
