Artist Statement:
I am currently a studio art
major with a concentration in
printmaking at Louisiana State
University. I recently
changed to printmaking from my
previous concentration in
painting and drawing. I made
the change so I could learn
the processes and technical
skills of printing. For me
painting has always been a
natural expression and it will
continue to be, only now I can
use it with the new processes
I am learning in printmaking.
In my work I enjoy enlarging
the microscopic world to
reveal its beauty and zooming
on one infinitesimal part of
the universe to show its
vastness. These artworks are
testimonials to my continual
amazement with nature and
life.
