Artist Statement:
Art is a reflection of an
artists life. His experience
flowing from the inner soul
like a fountain cascading on
to the canvas with brilliant
colour. The canvas is a refuge
for thy artists who are looked
upon like cavemen of the
computer age. He lives by the
brush or dies by the brush.
The artist is a tortured soul
who's passion is to paint but
his talent is in the desert
looking for a drop of paint
for that brush thats never
there. The white canvas sits
collecting time like a stone
on a sand dune. He struggles
through years of sweltering
heat and sand storms. Then one
day a drop of blue paint from
the sky falls on the canvas.
Like a miracle the canvas is
no longer white. The artist
shouts to rejoice because the
day has come to paint again!
