Artist Statement:
Painting is a physically
expressive act. Opening to
the moment, the materials, the
process takes complete
awareness and willingness to
do what it takes. An
intricate and delicate balance
between decision making and
inituition, freedom and
constraints. This allows a
full-blown image to come to
life. My intention is to
continually overcome my
personal limitations and
expand my awareness of
materials, self and the
creative process. What
attracts me is color, energy
and materials. How all these
parts interact and play out
make the art unique and
exciting....
