IVAN KHOKHLOV CREATIVE ART’S INFORMATION
Ivan Khokhlov--- Russian famous professional graphic artist , book and art-painter.
Was born in 1945, Moscow. Graduated from Moscow Art Polygraphic University.
Ivan Khokhlov has created and painted 87 color linocups .
His works consist of many series, such as « The Bible», «Images»,
«Ñolor and Line», «The Parallel Worlds», «The XX Century Prophets»,
«The Sea Symphony», «Pony and Hare’s Life and Adventures» (ñhildren serie),
the miniature art works «My Native Moscow Localities», «The Seasons» .
Ivan Khokhlov has also created so called «mixed» art techniques for «The Sea Symphony» and «The Parallel Worlds» series. He made works and pictures for children, getting many children’s books up.
His pictures are all widely well known throughout the world.
Recently, he held his own exhibitions. One of them was exhibited in Moscow City Parliament art gallery and another was held in «Sosni» art gallery at the Russian President administration building. His art works and pictures of different series are held and presented in many of private collections, art galleries and museum collections in France, Australia, Canada, England, Japan, Germany, Chech Republic, and in The USA. Some of his works are in E.Genieva’s, Ch.Aytmatov’s and G.Uranov’s private home collections. Five of Ivan Khokhlov’s art works of different series were bought by a world-famous musician
Mstislav Rostropovitch for his private home contemporary art collection.
