Artist Statement:
The process of transforming
the image of the natural body
by using a computer is another
way of exploring opposits.
This is something I’ve been
involved with all my life.
Growing up in communism and
then the move to capitalism at
the age of 14. Studying
electrical engeneering and
afterwards working in
photography & arts.
“ The timeless attracting
Feminine” is a theme I am
working on in the last year.
Where does the energy come
from that attracts both man
and woman to the naked
feminine body? Is it possible
to show the naked body in a
way that people of different
cultures and religions are not
offended by looking at it?
These are only two of the
questions I am currently
working on.
The starting point in all
works is a nude photograph.
The subject is often not shown
whole, but clipped for
increasing intensity and
expression.
The technique of my work
includes photography, digital
imaging, computer painting,
printing on canvass and final
embellishment through
painting or drawing with
reflective, acrylic and other
colors. Some of my works are
partially plated with various
gold leaves from 6 to 22
Karat.
I use canvas for two reasons.
