Artist Statement:
I was born in Stockholm. When
I was very young I took over
my father’s paint-box and
easel, which became a gateway
for my own creative spirit.
Inspiration and motives for my
works come from the great
variety found in Nature’s
Nordic manifoldness – from the
Danish coast at Cape Skagen to
the wild beauty far up in
Northern Norway, near the
North Cape. The Nordic
countryside is an
inexhaustible source of beauty
and experience, especially
where there’s water. To me,
this is the finest source of
power imaginable. Through my
paintings I want observers to
feel inner harmony and joy –
leaving time and space behind
for a while – something
everyone needs to do in a
World full of trouble and
stress....
