2008
I have been selected as 1 of 10 best artist in New Orleans for the 2008 New Orleans Museum of Art’s (NOMA), “Love in the Gardens”. Celebration and awards are set for September 26, 2008.

2007 I closed Martin Dale's in October and relocated to New Orleans, LA at the end of December. Where now I am in several art galleries, including my own home and am still doing different outdoor art markets here in New Orleans.

Martin Dale Welch is the owner of Martin Dale’s an unusual shop, which is also his studio and gallery. You can see his works at Martin Dale’s, located “at the loop”, 455 Dauphin Island Parkway, Mobile, Al. 36606. He graduated from Spring Hill College with honors and was awarded the Fine and Performing Arts Department President’s Scholar honor, for his outstanding works. His works are in collections all over the Mississippi Delta, stretching from Memphis, Tn. to Yazoo City, Ms. His painting are also in Louisiana, South Carolina, Iowa and Alabama.
